When you buy this application…. you dont get any historical datas. The application is very good in his principle, design and information…… but if you need datas from the past years forget it. Should be very easy to solve this critical point and application will become nearly perfect.

Love this app. It would be cool though if it showed the time elaspsed on the radar animation and had a place on the GUI that you could instantly access your weather journal instead of using the menu bar. But I really like this app.

I like it, its a good app if you just need to see basic information about the forecast thats what you need. You can find your location quite easy which is good and I think its the best app for weather but its also I think pretty expensive though.

The latest update for Seasonality Core is superb. With particle mode enabled on the weather maps, you get an amazing visualization of winds and how they interact. Its possible to see how the jetstream influences local weather, the flow of winds in major tropical storms, the convergence of winds along high and low pressure zones, and the effect of major geographical features like mountain ranges on prevailing winds. It was eye opening to realize how much interaction and flow there is going on. The app continues to be stable and resource efficient in the latest version - I particularly like that it can be configured to stop animating when its in the background, preserving battery life and heat on my laptop.

If you want weather information this is the application; nice on the iPhone/iPad as well.

Given the companys overview of the product, and the price I was expecting much more from this weather application. There are many things that its lacking that you can get from free online weather websites. It has no way to track precipitation accumulation, and doesnt give you any type of forcast other that % chance of rain or snow and temperature. The weather map has no type of animation and when you zoom in down to a county view it gets fairly blurry. To the application designer, please add some animation to the map, possibly a couple hours in each direction of the current time. An hour by hour forcast would be nice also, along with precipitation accumulation totals. Also, maybe a way to make the weather map bigger without having to expand the entire application screen. I have to say, Im very disappointed that I paid $25 for this....I wish there was a way to get my money back.

Not worth the money, unless they do a lot of updating! No animated radar, no hourly forecast, needs better mapping! It does have a nice clean interface and it is quick, but right now I would not recommend unless they come way down on the price or like I said do a lot of updating!

Very disappointed in this app. There are free websites offering much more. Sorry I bought this. Just FYI, for those of you disappointed in this app, you can contact app store customer service and they will refund your money.

Nice app but not worth the money. Cool graphs....thats not enough to warrant this pricetag.

Current version is graphically pleasing, but lacks some useful features (animated radar, detailed forecasts, etc.). In my opinion, this iMac app is considerably overpriced. Hoping the next version (Seasonality 2) will justify what I paid.

Use Weather Bug! All the same info for free. Thought this app would have a wind forecast but it doesnt. What a waste.

All this app does is preent basic weather info in a fancy format. Had seen a friends on his iPad and did like it. I bought for my desktop however because of the "what were working on" in the desciption. Well, almost 6 months later theres not even a token update to let you know theyre working on what they sold people on. Stick with the internet for this info- free weather wesbites have more features than this app does!

Ive had Seasonality for a while and have been waiting for an update. When it didnt work in the standard "Updates" section I emailed the company and within a few minutes the creator emailed me back and walked me through the update. Talk about great customer service! Really psyched about the new update. A little pricy for a weather app, but I really love it.

How about a download that works, instead of a Hash Mismatch error

I was so excited to see this application for the Mac. Ive been using Seaonality Go on my iPad for several months, and it is one of my favorites. I recommend this for its elegant simplicity. Find the precise information you want, without ads, and less all the distraction of the browser based programs. Be sure to spend five minutes on the developers web site. You can learn all the features in that time, and enable the specific features and information you prefer. Thanks to the developer for doing an outstanding job.

Ive had Seasonality for some time now, but just got the upgrade (Oct 7). I am really pleased with the new app; its extremely well done. Im a retired weather and climate jock, and I typically want a weather scene to include some fairly subtle information. This app now has it all. The precipitayion display greatly improves utility and the time horizon employed is most useful. Of course, the colorization is wonderful from an aesthetic standpoint; but the fact is that it also lends the composite data display much more informational clarity. The rendering of beautiful NOAA and NASA data products is complete now, and simply superb.

Not very impressed… seems like a port of an iPad app to the desktop… I think wunderground or even accuweather gives more detailed information. Should have a screensaver feature and MUCH better radar maps...

I have used Seasonality for several years and am happy to see its upgrade to Seasonality Core. Though I have other weather application, I like like Seasonalitys big bright interface where the map is well integrated. Most weather applications use a separate or pop-up window for the map. It is also easy to see the many locations that youve added to this large interface.

I bought this app hoping to use it a my sole weather forecaster, but Ive found that after checking the weather on Seasonality I still open up my browser and check NOAA for more detailed and accurate forecasts.

Ive been using Seasonality Go on the iPad for a while, and finally decided to give the Mac app a try since its been updated (and rather radically changed) from its original version (which was simply called "Seasonality"). I love the dark interface, and the access to the wide range of graphs for pressure, wind speed/direction, precipitation, etc (all of which can be turned on or off as desired). As a keyboard junkie, I appreciate that the developer made it easy to switch between saved locations with Command+1, Command+2, and so on. Full screen mode looks fantastic as well. Plus, having a journaling option gives me a central place to record my own weather observations, and keep all my WX stuff in one place. Excellent work!
